REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Surveillance Cameras and Fire Alarm Upgrades
The Aromas-San Juan Unified School District (“District”) is seeking proposals for the purchase and installation of security surveillance cameras to be used to monitor movement in and around the buildings and/or surrounding properties including but not limited to school buildings, parking lots, storage buildings, fenced lots, etc. Proposer is asked to submit detailed solutions on the advantages of such systems that can address the ability of the District to adopt technological advances as they become more cost effective and/or mission critical.
This RFP also includes necessary fire alarm system upgrades which could include the following: 1. Replace fire alarm control panels, networked together. 2. Replace remote annunciator. 3. Remote power supply connections. 4. Smoke detector connections. 5. Heat detector connections. 6. Manual pull station connections. 7. Water-flow and tamper connections. 8. Beam smoke detector connections. 9. Horn strobe connections. 10. Horn connections. 11. Strobe connections. 12. Perform test on entire system.
Respondents to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) should mail one original proposal and four (4) copies and must be submitted on or before RFP deadline. Proposer must submit one (1) original proposal marked "Original" and four (4) identical copies for a total of five (5).

Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing by e-mail to Dan Carrillo at firstname.lastname@example.org on or before December 29, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. with a carbon copy to C. John Dominguez at email@example.com. Answers will be posted on the District website by 2:00 p.m. on January 5, 2021.
Each Response must conform and be responsive to the requirements set forth in this RFP.
The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received Submittals. Further, the District reserves the right to reject any and all Responses and to negotiate contract terms with one or more respondent firms.
